Sometimes I feel like I don’t have anything worthwhile to share, either on the blog or on Instagram. I mean, what am I good at, really? I’m an IT professional, but work is something that don’t particularly talk about in my free time. I even doubt my abilities at work oftentimes. Let’s see… I know how to keep our home tidy and live within our means. I know how to declutter and keep a shopping list to reduce chances of impulsive buying. But that’s kind of boring to talk about, right? Don’t people know this already? Also, I’m still a beginner at sustainable living, so I don’t have enough knowledge about it yet. I like to bake but it’s not good enough to be sold, it’s just for family and friends. So what can I share that will be of value to other people?
Do you feel this way too? I found a video from Mel Robbins that really hit me, and it might help you too. She says that there’s something inside of us, maybe a lesson or a story, that we are meant to share with the world. I guess no matter how mundane the topics seem to me, someone out there probably needs to hear it. I have to remind myself that not everyone thinks the way I do, and maybe there’s something in my heart and mind that other people need to hear (or read). And if one person finds what I’m sharing valuable, then that would really make me happy. Make that a handful of people and I’d be over the moon!
“Our inner wisdom is persistent, but quiet. It will always whisper, but it will never stop knocking at your door.” – Vironika Tugaleva
Perhaps someone wants to learn about minimalism, personal finance, how I do house chores, and whatnot. Or although I can be quite picky on what I choose to share (and the depth of it as well – a lot of details are meant for people close to me only), maybe someone would like to hear about more personal stuff such as my journey as an immigrant, relationship talk, or my experience with miscarriage. Who knows? I hope you find your inner truth and wisdom as well, and that you’d share that to the world. I know I’d love to hear it.
